Maple
I used Maple as part of my multivariable calculus class and the second part of my linear algebra coursework, and developed a familiarity with many of its functions. An example of some multivariable calculus work can be found here, and linear algebra and matrix operations here.
AutoCAD and MasterCAM
Both of these programs were used in my shop classes in both high school and college. The two examples in this picture are from IME 141 at Cal Poly. The round medallions were modeled in MasterCAM x7 and then machined on a Haas CNC mill to get a wax pattern. A cold box precision sand casting was then made based off that pattern. The keychains were designed in AutoCAD, which was used to create an etching in plastic, which was then used to make a wax injection mold. Using the wax pattern made from this die, lost wax molds were made.
Word
I've been using word processing software, Microsoft Word in particular, since third grade in elementary school. As such, I've become familiarized with all its basic functions and tools, and learned a few of its more hidden tricks as well. My resume, and brief research project were both formatted in Word.
Excel
I have used Microsoft Excel extensively in my lab courses in middle school, high school, and college. From this, I've gained familiarity with most of its basic functions.
